MonsGeek M6 DIY Kit

Alice Keyboard Kit

MonsGeek M6 aluminum barebone kit boasts unique 65% alice-style layouts, setting it apart from traditional designs. Embrace ergonomic bliss as it alleviates strain and fatigue during extended typing sessions, making it the perfect choice for work, gaming, or general use, ensuring optimal comfort and efficiency typing experience.

Disclaimer: we do NOT sell domestic non-VIA/QMK version kits on global store. All M series wired models you see are international versions exclusive.

Stabilizers

PCB Mount/Screw-in stabilizers tend to vibrate less. M6 Alice keyboard barebone uses Akko screw-in stabilizers (un-assembled) with nylon housing in case users want to lubricate.

South-facing PCB

The south-facing PCB of the M6 alice keyboard kit avoids causing interference with Cherry profile keycaps, offering more compatibility and flexibility.

Customizable RGB

M6 alice keyboard kit offers approximately 18 preset backlight modes, which allow users to adjust the brightness and flowing speed levels. Moreover, it supports a wide range of RGB effects, with over 16.8 million colors available. Users can also install an upcoming JSON file to access even more lighting effects and configurations.

New Silver Accent

Adding a touch of class and elegance, we opted to add a beautiful golden accent so that no matter which way you look at it, you’ll fall in love over and over again.

N-Key Rollover

The N-Key Rollover technology allows all keys to work simultaneously and ensures every keystroke is recorded and prevents ghosting.

Engraved Back Design

M6 alice keyboard kit QMK version has adopted the new engraved back design with a re-sized sticker for aesthetics purposes.

QMK / VIA Support

MonsGeek M6 alice keyboard kit supports VIA for cross-platform (Linux/Mac/Windows) advanced keyboard configuration.

This feature is exclusively for international version of M6.

Need More Foam?

Monsgeek has developed its own budget custom material that performs equally as well as poron. Meanwhile, MonsGeek M6 custom kit comes with an additional sponage case foam to reduce case ping.

*Disclaimer: Using thicker foam may reduce flex, whether to include it or not is down to your personal preference.

PET Insulation Layer

A PET insulation layer has been added to the bottom case in order to prevent any short circuit issues. It’s rare for these issues to occur but we want to add extra protection.

An amazing board, for an amazing price

I wanna start this review by stating that I had no prior experience with Akko products. When this keyboard arrived, I was astonished by the weight of the package. As soon as I unboxed the package, it was clear that the quality of the product is unrivaled at this price point. It feels very solid. Furthermore with the pads and foams included you can adjust the sound signature of the board by a huge margin. All in all I am very happy with the value I got from this purchase and I am a satisfied Akko customer.

Good but the stabilizers

The keyboard it's pretty nice overall maybe a bit overpriced, the stock stabilizers tho are pretty bad, they could use some lube, maybe u could include a tiny bottle of lube. It's the only issue for me
