16-Key Switch Tester

The 16-piece switch tester set allows me to understand the behavior of some switch models. It ships in a solid, clear plastic case which easily fits in my pocket. It is a definite improvement over the Cherry MX tester set, which includes only 10 switches, yet is almost 4 times bigger in size — and made entirely out of cardboard (but uses the inside of the box cover flap to list model names and mention main parameters such as behavior (clicky/tactile/linear/silent), registration and travel length).

However there are a few things that can be improved.
(1) The kit could have included a tiny brochure that lists the switch models and helps users identify them, because the switches themselves bear no model signature and can only be identified by body color
(2) The documentation could also direct the user's attention to specific differences in performance, because some switches appear to feel the same when pressed. I at least would need more info on *why* I should choose a particular model over another that has a similar feel.
(3) There are more than 16 switch models on offer on the Akko website as I am writing this; we should be given an explanation as to why these 16 exact models have been picked up; or, given the ability to purchase samplers of all models.
(4) The user should be given a choice to also get some keycaps; these make testing much closer to real life than pressing on the stems.

This is the justification of my 4/5 rating. Akko have given its customers an affordable way of testing their proposals, but with some more effort it could be improved further.

Very useful for actually having a feel between the different forces and tactile vs linear and such.
It's also proved to be a great fidgeting toy, for just randomly pressing the switches with the different strengths and textures.
Would highly recommend to those who have no experience with mechanical switches yet.

However, they can only get you so far. There are no keycaps on these switches, and they're not inside a keyboard obviously. I imagine that with keycaps it'll feel and sound different. (I haven't bought a keyboard itself yet, so I don't know yet.)
It's also not the full list of switches available, but will probably give a wide enough range to imagine what the others will be like based on what these are like.

Great keyboard. Factory lubed switches. Awesome support. Helped me reset my keyboard after I accidentally bricked it.

I got it looks like exactly the same as in the picture. It is just a perfect.
It would be nice if there will be any kind of naming, or a qrcode lead to a website what it is showing the details. Naming in the correct order and basic details.
I know switch guide is in here, so I/we can find the details, it is just would be a bit better.
But no complains.
